How Can Kennewick Improve Columbia Park’s Pond? [SURVEY]

People are upset at the amount of trash in the Columbia Park pond. I remember a few years ago residents expressing concern about kids who play in the pond (it's full of diseases). It gets used for fishing about once a year on Kid's Fishing Day (great event). Older folks remember swimming there and spreading out a towel on the beach. It's one of the coolest features of Columbia Park -- one of the coolest features of Kennewick! What can be done to improve it? Maybe we don't want it as a swimming/wading pond anymore. Maybe we want it for fishing... but how do we make it less gross?
