Hermiston Restaurant Worker Jailed for Altering Receipts

So this lady who worked at a Hermiston restaurant (doesn't say which one), was adding money to credit card receipts after the customers had already signed and paid. She got away with a little over $600.

Her bail was set at nearly $800k according to reports and the Facebook thread went crazy. That's a pretty high bail for stealing $600 most of the comments are saying. Until you get to the comment that says, "Again??!! Make her bail higher so that she maybe quits stealing from everyone around town!!!"

I guess this sneaky thief has a reputation with at least one other person in Hermiston.

This is a good reminder to check your credit card bill and make sure your statement matches your receipt.
