Bullets flew through one Hermiston family's living room on Mother's Day after a gang-related shooting outside their apartment. Residents say they heard multiple gun shots on Sunday morning from the corner of 4th and Highland Ave in Hermiston. Two teens were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries and one family had bullet holes fly through their living room. Carl Allstott lives near there and found bullet holes in his living room walls according to news reports. He said, "Had my son been home instead of being at grandma's for Mother's Day breakfast he would have been on that couch, playing his video games like he always does".

A 21-year-old from Hermiston man named Lalo Murillo is in custody in connection with the shooting and the investigation is still underway.
