If you live in Eastern Oregon – don’t rake those leaves just yet. The Blue Mountain foothills, southern Wallowa Valley, and Grand Ronde Valley will bear the brunt of the wind storm with gusts expected to reach 60 mph. Central Oregon and John Day Highlands will also be affected. Winds around the Tri-Cities and Yakima Valley are expected to remain between 15 and 20 mph. Walla Walla and Dayton can expect 35 to 45 mph gusts.

Traveling in the high impact areas could be hazardous with blowing dust and debris. Tie down and secure outdoor furniture and other items around your home. Power outages could be possible.
