I'm happy to say I was able to spend the afternoon with my Grandson. I can honestly say 4 hours with him is not enough. Our day started when I picked him up at Gateway Pre-School, and it was on....

Conner, Bailey and Grandpa

He was so excited about his day, so for the first 2 miles I just listened, as it should be. Of course shortly after that comes the question and answer period. Do we still have TV at our house, what's that sign say, did I know police cars go whooowhoooowhoooo, and my favorite, when is it gonna snow? Our first order of business was to blow the driveway off with the leaf blower, to rid it of small rocks and dirt. Now, to properly do this we must first pass through the garage to get the the ear protection, Conner cannot stand loud stuff. So on the way to the work bench we play a game called,'What's that'. This where he points to stuff and says,'Grandpa what's that'. This game usually takes 10 to 15 minutes, but being a little more chatty on this day, we spent a good 20 minutes trying to figure it all out. Blowing off the driveway didn'tgo much better. Conner would blow things up the driveway(it's at a slight angle) then turn and blow most of it back. Job security. Also, a little known yard fact, it is way funner to blow air up your shirt, as apposed to trying to rid the property of leaves. Luckily the blower got a little heavy and we had to stop and put everything away, which included another round of, Grandpa, what's that'. Soon we were watching TV, and he likes to watch like me. We watched Ninja Panda, Sponge Bob, How It's Made, Tank battles, Monster Fish, Football and Punkin' Chunkin', all simultaneously. I love this kid. We talked about christmas presents, and how his mom had a operation game in the trunk of her car, but she had to take that to work because they needed there, nice save Lindsey. We ate to many candy bars and drank to much juice, and it was perfect. Can't wait to hang out again, se ya around Conner.
