Elevator Goes Out Of Control! And Skyrockets Upwards [VIDEO]

A Man named Jose Acevedo. He got into an elevator in an apartment complex in Santiago, Chile.The doors briefly close and then reopened , the doors stayed OPEN the whole time....Thats when the mayhem began!!
He was  pressing buttons to get it to stop, but it didn't work. The elevator went up 31
floors in 15 seconds, and smashed into the ceiling.

Emergency crews got Jose out. he's in the hospital with leg and head injuries. And he may not be able to walk again because the crash damaged his spine.
