Adams County Deputies were able to corral a wanted suspect near Othello the other night largely because of a drone and their K-9 Garrett.

Around 7:15 pm Tuesday authorities were trying to apprehend 32-year-old Bud Ashton Davis, who was wanted on some outstanding felony warrants.

After getting a tip he was in the area of the 700 block of South Sunset Acres Road near Othello, they were able to close in fast.

Using a drone to track Davis as he attempted to flee across some fields, they were able to set up complete containment, then Garrett went in and finished the job.

Teeth and technology made the job a lot easier. Other sheriff departments, including Franklin County, are using drones for such purposes.
