DOT, WSP Highlight the “Lighter” Side of Russel Wilson Trade
Yes, there is gnashing of teeth and such with the trade of Russel Wilson to Denver (and now Bobby Wagner let go). But don't let it affect your driving.
WA DOT and WSP Post hilarious stuff online
Without making fun of fans, and using humor to push home another safe driving point, the Department of Transportation posted a hilarious GIF of Kramer from Seinfeld, as a response to the Wilson Trade.
The DOT said in part:
"IF you are a Seahawks fan, and you are driving, and you are listening to the radio, and you hear about Russel Wilson, please don't drive off the road. Pull over, then react. "
Trooper Thorson, the WSP Communications officer for SE WA, retweeted DOT, adding:
"Agreed! Writing "cellphone while driving" citations right now will not help this situation. pull off the roadway to a safe location to check the latest updates."
Leave it to them to add some levity while making a good point about safety.
