I love getting out of the studio and meeting listeners. And this weekend was a gas. I got to hang out with the guys from Western States CAT at Albertsons to help promote "Dump Hunger," A food drive to help the Second Harvest continue to provide food for the folks who need it. You can drop off food and money at any Wells Fargo locations and at Western States CAT just off of Oregon Ave. in Pasco until Feb. 10. Food can be dropped off at all area Albertsons stores until Feb. 10 as well. Thanks to Paul and the whole gang for bringing out the giant CAT 735 dump truck; the kids loved it. After seeing this monster up close, I want to buy one of these dump trucks just to drive around town, with my blinker on.

I then packed up the KORD Ford and headed to JMC Motorsports in Pasco to promote their grand opening. That's where I met a fireball named Heather, who after only 2 minutes I felt like I've known her all my life. Heather, try and cheer up a bit, would ya? Also I had a side kick for the day named Jordon; he's the owner's son and did some breaks with me, or should I say I did some breaks with him? Polite, smart and very helpful -- Jordon -- it was a pleasure meeting you. And thank you Michelle for having us out. JMC Motorsports is located at the foot of the Cable Bridge on the Pasco side, with parts and service for motorcross bikes, ATV's, snowmobiles and dual sports. But wait, my day wasn't done; it was a short nap and a shower and off to the Melonville Comedy Fest in Hermiston. All I can say is we laughed our butts off. Great job Angela and Warren; you guys work hard at making this show a success and it shows. Well, back to work I go, see ya on the radio. 102.7 KORD
