Candy Mountain is on the new National Parks Service (NPS) App.
I have been working with the local B-Reactor NPS unit manager to highlight the Hanford history & great views of the Hanford Site from the summit of Candy Mountain.
Check out the self-guided tours in the Manhattan Project National Historical Park section of the new NPS App (just released in April) and look for Hanford: Summit Candy Mountain with 8 fun interpretive stops along the way. There is also lots of information on the Hanford Secret City, Hanford Scientific breakthroughs, and other Hanford Legacies.

Candy Mountain features breathtaking views of the Tri-Cities, and Mount Adams and Mount Rainier on clear days. There are two official trails that are open to hikers, (Dogs must be on a leash) bikers, and horseback riders.

The wildlife and plants you see on Candy Mountain are very similar to those found on Badger Mountain. Candy Mountain Preserve is located at 71004 E 669 PR NE, in Richland.
