
Bluegrass Music Lost A Legend
Dierks Bentley said," It's not just bluegrass, it's American music" and bluegrass said good bye to one of the greatest. Earl Scruggs passed away Wednesday in Nashville of natural causes. Scruggs teamed up with Lester Flatts and created a dynamic bluegrass combo. The two will probably be best remembered for the 1949 recording of "Foggy Mountain Breakdown, which was used in the 1967 movie " Bonnie and Clyde" and the "Ballad of Jed Clampett" from the "Beverly Hillbillies" which debuted in 1961.
