And The Best State in The Nation is…[POLL]

Congratulations! Washington was rated the number one state in the country by U.S. News & World Report. The publication has ranked the states according to more than 70 metrics including health care, education, economy, and other infrastructure.

What an honor! This is the second year in a row the Evergreen State has received the highest ranking. Governor Inslee took a visit to the Tri-Cites on Tuesday and tweeted his delight.

How fortunate we are to live in such a beautiful state. We have everything from beautiful mountains, and waterfalls to national sports teams, and wineries. We truly hit the jackpot in residing in this beautiful state.

Recently, Townsquare Media Tri-Cities began recognizing local businesses for our inaugural Townie Awards 2021.

The Townies are our way of honoring some of the local businesses that help define the unique character of the Tri-Cities community.

Blessed to be back in the beautiful Tri-Cities, even though we're still in a pandemic. We're making progress. People are getting vaccinated. Businesses are open at 25% capacity.

With Spring around the corner, I am looking forward to experiencing MUCH more of Washington. I cannot wait to see Mount Rainier, go camping, and visit Seattle's Space Needle, and Public Market. Can you believe I've NEVER been?
