40+ Mistreated Dogs Found in Duplex Eviction & Need Homes
If you have been looking for a canine addition to your home, now may be the time because there are now 40+ dogs recently found that need good homes.
The 40+ mistreated dogs were found in a duplex when the landlord was trying to evict the tenant. 39 Yorkshire Terrier mixes and other larger dogs were found living with trash all over the floor, dead rats laying around, and most of the dogs in "severe" condition, according tor reports.
The Benton-Franklin Humane Society is helping to collect the dogs and get them back to health but can not keep the dogs because they have no space.
Each of the dogs will need vaccinations, grooming and be spayed or neutered before they can be adopted. These dogs need homes as soon as possible, some being ready for adoption by next week.
If you are interested in adopting one of these dogs, you can fill out an application at the Benton-Franklin Humane Society office or on their website online.
The police are involved in the eviction case, but right now their are no criminal charges involved with the dogs or their care.
