Eastbound traffic out of Pendleton, OR, is closed today (and local traffic only allowed east of Stanfield/Echo). UPDATE: both directions east of Pendleton are closed.

The road between Yakima and Ellensburg is temporarily closed due to accidents.

An estimated eight accidents have occurred south of Kennewick near Umatilla (although the road is still open).
