United Airlines Drags Doctor Off Plane to Take Seat for Staff
The incident was captured by passengers of the flight and immediately spread on social media. It all started when the airline announced they needed 4 volunteers to get off the flight to make room for employees that needed to be on the overbooked flight. After nobody volunteered, they randomly selected 4 paying customers with a computer and made them exit the plane. One man, later identified as a medical doctor, would not leave his seat and was forcefully pulled dragged off the plane while other passengers screamed.
The Courier-Journal reports that the man was allowed back on the plane because other passengers volunteered their seats after seeing the confrontation.
Needless to say, I know I will think twice before ever booking another flight with United Airlines again...EVER!
