Lots of rain and rapid snowmelt has led to rapidly rising rivers and streams causing major flooding in Walla Walla, Waitsburg and Dayton and Pendleton and Umitilla Oregon.
The experts from the Northwest Weather Service are chiming in the possibility of flooding in the Tri-Cities and it looks like we are good to go for zero-flooding even with the huge amounts of snow we've received the last few months.
Rexburg, Idaho is home to BYUI, formerly Rick's College, and even though you've probably never heard of it, there's a good chance someone you know went there. Those people are glued to social media today, trust me, looking at photos and videos of the campus flooded -- sometimes in five feet of water!
The Columbia River will be at or near flood stage over the next few days. If you plan on boating, playing in the river, or in some areas running along the river - use caution.
