Benton County Sheriff Deputies helped terminate a lengthy chase involving Prosser Police Sunday night. They finally subdued the stubborn driver who refused to pull over.

Prosser police tried to pull over the 41-year-old driver (whose name was not released) as he had some outstanding arrest warrants. But he didn't cooperate and led police on a 30-minute chase from Prosser through the county.

As he headed back towards town, Benton County Deputies (who'd been providing surveillance and following the chase) laid down spike strips, bringing the chase to an abrupt end.

The driver is now facing Felony Eluding charges to go with his other warrants. No one was injured in the lengthy chase and apprehension.
