Sharp-Eyed Citizen Helps Deputies Nab Prosser Porch Pirates
Earlier Thursday morning, Benton County Sheriff's Department investigators sent out some surveillance images of a pair of porch pirates, and now they're in custody.

The Department apologized for the long-distance photo, but that was all they had at the time. The two suspects were seen stealing a package(s) from one or more homes on Apricot Drive, which is about 4 miles west of the center of town in Prosser.
However, just a few hours later, BCSO announced the two were in custody. It probably helped that the white Dodge pickup they were driving had a BLACK passenger door, which made it easy to see and identify.
Specific details were not released, but a tip from a Benton County resident and help from Grandview Police ended up with them being caught.
It appears they were confronted by authorities, ditched their truck, and ran but were promptly captured. Driving that vehicle probably sped up their apprehension a whole lot.
