Lawmakers Ask: Should People Be Discriminated Against for Marijuana Use?
A few Washington lawmakers are proposing a new lan prohibiting employers from discriminating against people who test positive for marijuana use -- in their private time. Is it a good idea?
Many people see marijuana in a negative way, however it has many good promises in the medical field. It is used as a normal everyday medication for many patients, so they shouldn't be discriminated at work, nor prevent them for qualifying for a job, since it what keeps them healthy or stable. Doctors prescribe this medication for muscle pains, cancer, seizures, and many more. Patients shouldn't be discriminated for a medical problem they can't get rid of. That's my opinion.
