Keith Urban Shreds on Luke Combs’ ‘Hurricane’ Live in Nashville [WATCH]
Luke Combs closed his first of two sold-out shows at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena with a surprise special guest: Keith Urban joined the rising superstar for Combs' breakout hit, "Hurricane."
Combs saved "Hurricane" for his final song of the night, ceding the tune's second verse to Urban. The country superstar earned a huge cheer from the Bridgestone Arena crowd as he appeared onstage and took the mic. Urban also assisted with the song's instantly recognizable guitar riffs throughout the performance. Press play above to watch.
"Hurricane" became Combs' first No. 1 song in the spring of 2017, after a slow and steady climb which began when the song charted, without major-label support, in 2015. The star has since earned six additional consecutive No. 1 hits, most recently his single "Even Though I'm Leaving." In the years since its release, "Hurricane" has been certified four-times platinum.
Combs' two sold-out Bridgestone Arena concerts, the second of which is scheduled for Friday (Dec. 13), conclude his 2019 Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour on a high note. The year has been a banner one for the singer, who released both an EP, The Prequel, and his sophomore album, What You See Is What You Get, in 2019.
In 2020, Combs will be touring in support of that new record, on his What You See Is What You Get Tour. The trek will begin on Feb. 7, at Columbia, Mo.'s Mizzou Arena, and will feature Ashley McBryde and Drew Parker as Combs' special guests.
