New Poll: Washington Women Love Firefighters

I'm not going to lie, I've seen a few Firefighters, I'd risk being caught in a fire for!

What is it do you think? The uniform? The athleticism & bravery? Or the caring attitude? I think maybe all three traits are definitely appealing. I mean what's more romantic than some gorgeous hunk rescuing you from a burning building? It's like Superman!

Women find intelligence attractive

A new poll of over 3000 single women showed women in Washington State find Firefighters the most desired. The survey revealed that the most universally attractive career for a dating profile is that of a firefighter.

Where the landscapes range from bustling cities to dense forests, firefighters are the top pick for women. Their bravery in the face of danger and their commitment to protecting both urban and rural areas make them highly desirable in the Evergreen State.

Apparently, in the near by state of Oregon, a Wine Maker is the most desired. In California, it's a Tech Entrepreneur.

Kindness is an appealing trait

Many positive traits make for a good quality partner. And most generally speaking I think careers that utilize those traits make the profession seem sexy.

Plenty of men in other careers have the same qualities they just aren't so easily emphasized.

Still, I do find it interesting that certain people go for and end up in certain fields. Firefighters certainly have to go through rigorous training in strength, fitness, and also intelligence. All of those traits make an appealing partner. And the fact that they are doing something in their life that is noble. "Doing good for others" type of job.

I suppose what a person chooses for a career can say a lot about who they are and what is important to them. But, not always.

Admittedly, I love it when a Calendar filled with area firefighters is on sale to raise funds for some charity. I buy that one every time!
