I know, it’s a bit early to start thinking about camping! But do you know how fast campgrounds fill up each year? It’s best to reserve EARLY if you have a place you know you want to visit this year.

I recently discovered this award-winning campground that I want to experience for sure!

It appears to be high-end Glamping, but there is nothing wrong with that! I mean, there are times when you don’t want to really ‘rough it’ but still want to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors!

It's never too early to plan a camp trip for Summer.

In March, Snow Peak, the renowned Japanese outdoor brand, opened its first U.S. campground in Long Beach, Washington, a coastal town known for its chilly winds and dense fog.

Located between the Pacific Ocean and lush forests, this new campground offers 56 tent sites where visitors can experience Snow Peak’s sleek, weatherproof gear, from high-performance tents to titanium chopsticks.

Washington State has some of the best camping in the Country.

Campers can rent gear by the piece or enjoy a fully pre-set campsite.

Founded in Niigata, Japan, by mountaineer Yukio Yamai, Snow Peak has built a reputation for innovative designs and high-quality outdoor gear.

The brand chose Long Beach for its natural beauty and variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, whale-watching, kayaking, and crabbing.

Despite the chilly waters, with temperatures rarely surpassing 68°F, visitors can unwind in a Japanese-style Ofuro Spa made of sustainably sourced cypress wood or stay in one of the 14 Jyubako micro-cabins designed by architect Kengo Kuma.

These minimalist cabins offer a queen-sized platform bed, and optional additional sleeping mats, and come fully equipped with Snow Peak tables, chairs, and cookware for a cozy, convenient camping experience.

Snow Peak’s U.S. campground reflects a growing trend in outdoor brand-based lodging, with companies like REI and evo opening similar sites.

This trend helps outdoor enthusiasts, especially beginners, experience nature without the hassle of purchasing all the necessary gear.

Snow Peak’s new campground is already nearly fully booked for this summer, highlighting its appeal among adventurers.

Glamping and Yurts? These Are Not Your Grandfather's Camping Places. Very Cool!!

Can you imagine if your Grandad wanted to take you out for a weekend of camping and fishing. And you ended up "glamping"? Or, even better, sleeping in a Yurt? These are some of the best places to do just that in the Catskill Mountains. High-end camping (glamor camping) and creative yurts (a round tent) abound in the Catskill region and these are some of the best. We also threw in a couple of camping sites that let you spend your weekend in the vintage elegance of a classic Airstream travel camper. Check these out. Bucket list material.
