Flick of a Cigarette Almost Burns Down Badger Canyon Coffee

The heat is on this summer and a careless driver in Kennewick flicked a burning cigarette from their vehicle and almost burns down a Badger Canyon Coffee Shop.

The incident was reported to the Kennewick Police Department. The details as posted by the KPD on their Facebook page.

KPD responded on June 29th around 2:15 pm to assist the Fire Dept on a brush fire along the south side of the 12000 block of W. Clearwater Ave, just east of Leslie Dr.

KPD noted it was likely that this was started by someone tossing a lit cigarette out the window of their car.

The fire started at the driveway entrance of Badger Canyon Coffee Co.
