7 Children Shot in School, Suspects Arrested

7 miles from Columbine High School, another Denver area school has been attacked by shooters. 

Two suspects are in custody after injuring at least 5 students at a K-12 school in Highlands Ranch.

The shooting started just after 2PM local time in the middle school zone. When police arrived, the shooters were reportedly still firing.

Last month, schools in the area were closed on the 20th anniversary of the Columbine massacre when an armed Florida teen, obsessed with the 1999 shooting, flew to Colorado and purchased a gun. She shot herself after a lengthy manhunt.
