A well-known Instagram fitness model and coach has pleaded not guilty to charges associated with last Tuesday's fatal crash that killed a moped rider.

Katie Summers entered the pleas in Benton County Superior Court Monday morning. Summers is accused of killing 31-year-old Lionel Birrueta at the intersection of Clearwater and Edison around 8:20pm.  She reportedly stopped her truck after trying to turn across Clearwater onto Edison after hitting his moped. He was pronounced dead the scene.

Then she reportedly drove away as police were arriving. She was said to have emptied pot containers in a dumpster nearby. She was located by police behind the Super Supplements building in the Albertson's store block. According to sources, her Toyota Tundra pickup was spotted there.

She allegedly admitted to police she had been drinking and smoking pot prior to driving, but no specific timeline has been released as to how long before getting behind the wheel. Toxicology results have not yet been made available. Her bail has been set at $500,000.

She became well known on Instagram with over 150,000 followers after her online transformation from 215 pounds down to 98.
