Why Don’t We Already Require Kids to Learn Cursive?

There's a new bill that proposes cursive be taught in Washington schools. What's taken so long?

Some teachers say they'd like their students to learn cursive, but they don't have the time to teach it.

Hey, come on now! I learned by the third grade in Iowa how to write in cursive. When I moved to Washington, I took handwriting classes in private school. I haven't looked back.

It's a classic art, and all students should learn it!
