Travel And Leisure Magazine annually asks readers and travelers to rank the cities they believe to be the most and least attractive, and that includes the population.

While this Eastern Washington city has held the 1974 World's Fair (which helped renovate the downtrodden Riverside area) and it's a weekend vacation destination, T&L readers apparently didn't think much of Spokane's population, ranking them the 3rd LEAST attractive city in the U.S.

Pretty heavy stuff for a list that includes Sacramento (#2), Baltimore (#1), Tampa Florida, Charlotte, North Carolina and Cleveland. We kind of expected Cleveland, but Spokane?

According to Travel and Leisure, "readers don't consider the locals all that eye-catching, preferring instead to take in the impressive view of Spokane Falls..."
