Tomorrow my Grandson turns 4 years old, and as much as I enjoy his company, I sure wish he wouldn't grow up so fast.

It seems like yesterday when Conner first appeared at our house, I was too scared to hold him the first visits, so tiny and he seemed to cry every time I held him. Next thing ya know he's walking around trying to put his finger in a light socket, and pulling on the dogs tail. I'm not sure what his first words were, but to me it sounded a lot like Grandpa. When he first started talking he would call me Pappa, then one day he came through the kitchen door, put his hands on his hips and said,"What ya doing, Chuck". Yes, I am still 'Chuck', but now he at least puts a Pappa in front of it. I never had kids of my own, so I thank God every day for two of the most beautiful Grand kids ever. Of course other Grandparents may not agree, I'm sure your Grand kids are the best ever as well. Hug them every chance you get, tell them you love them, and spoil them rotten and send them home. Being  a Grandparent Rocks.
