Holy PTSD.

Well, this shouldn't be traumatic for these kids or anything.

A 67-year-old Santa Claus, or Ded Moroz (Father Frost, Father Christmas) as he is known in Russia, was visiting a kindergarten class in Kemerovo, Siberia, Russia earlier this week when suddenly, he started having chest pains and keeled over backwards from a heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital but he died in the ambulance on the way there. The Russian was a well know actor born in Kemerovo about 2,200 miles east of Moscow. He had complained of chest pains before his enthusiastic performance was to begin, but did not want to let the children down.

In Russia by a tradition dating to Soviet times, Santa gives presents to children at midnight on New Year's Eve. He is usually dressed in red but is also seen sometimes in a blue costume.
