A man from Tri Cities is the first licensed commercial truck driver in Washington State. His name is Casey Patrick and he just passed his CDL test and is first ever to pass with his disability according to news reports. His instructor says he wasn't sure Patrick could do it because hearing the semi is such an important part of driving. Patrick has learned to use his other senses instead and uses those instead of hearing. "He can feel the pressure if it's grinding or not, or going smooth," says his instructor Clifton Losano.

Now Patrick is training to drive an even bigger semi now that he passed his CDL.
