Warm Weather, Walking Paths & Dog Doo

Warm weather invades the Mid Columbia ! We're expected to hit 88 degrees today.

One of my favorite things to do is run along the river at Wade Park in Pasco.  It begins near the railroad bridge at the East end of Pasco and continues to Chiawana Park and beyond.

I am happy to report that the City of Pasco has finally installed dog poo bag dispensers.  You see these in most city parks now.  Ultimately it is the responsibility and common courtesty of the dog owner to pick up the poo.  But not all dog owners "doo" (sorry).   I jog on the Wade park path often and even with the addition of the doggie doo bags there's still plenty of land mines to dodge.  Put it this way -  I don't recommend jogging after dark.

You can access Wade Park off of Sylvester on Road 54 in Pasco.  Follow the boat launch signs.  Plenty of parking and wide open spaces.
