Volunteers Help Spay/Neuter Facility for Homeless Pets Up for Adoption

I love that there are people in the world that are willing and able to put so much effort into finding homes and safer situations for pets in this world!

Big Kudos to my room-mate Karen! She has done so much for pets in our community. From driving hundreds, even thousands of miles to re-home pets from all over the country! to now volunteering at a Spay/Neuter facility in Benton City off of Della Rd.

This facility was instigated to help rescue organizations get pets ready to find 'Forever homes'. First and foremost they need to be Spayed or Neutered.

A group of volunteers helps with everything from taking down information, to providing a soft touch before, after and during the surgery.

All surgery is done by an official Veterinarian as well as a licensed Vet Tech.

Once Spayed or Neutered, the pets are transported by volunteers to other rescue organizations on the west side of the state to be photographed, profiled and hopefully re-homed to a new 'Forever Home'
