Umatilla County Doesn’t Want Tobacco Ads in Gas Stations, Good or Bad Idea? [POLL]
Recent studies have suggested adults in Umatilla County, Oregon, are less healthy than the national average. The public health dept. would like to cut down on tobacco use and has a drastic proposal.
The ads target children and are just as misleading and harmful as the TV and radio ads that are no longer legal.
To convince people they are a bad health option it is important to eliminate the counter-campaigns launched by the cigarette manufacturers.
It's logical, but it's also a little extreme. Are they going too far? Do you support this idea?
