Throwback: Woody Taping a TV Commercial in 1985!

Here's a Holiday Throwback Thursday thanks to my good friend and former boss, John Clay. John has had an extensive radio career that includes program director of the 70's Channel on XM. But way before that, he hired me to be a part of the KWES/Odessa-Midland, TX morning show with John Welch and Susan Wise. Susan would later go on to be the top rated morning host in Miami, FL. (In this clip, she's playing her way less intelligent alter ego, "Tinsel.")

John Welch and I later formed the "Welch & Woody Show" with stints in Reno, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, Detroit and Pittsburgh over 18 years. We are still best of friends...
