A Tri-Cities man went into hiding with his 11-year-old son after committing a hit-and-run Tuesday. Our news partner KNDU did a story on Thursday about the incident and interviewed a witness on Wellsian Way in Richland. That's when the father and son walked right past them.
This man and his dog can frequently be seen around 7 a.m. along Van Giesen in Richland. He allows the Doberman Pinscher to pull him like a chariot and these two cruise down the street or river trail at breakneck speeds.
Tri-Cities has a lot of great live, local music to enjoy nearly every night of the week. You may not know that it's a long-standing tradition! People have always enjoyed playing in bands -- but the instruments have changed. Check out these photos from the 1920s and 1930s.
Tomorrow I'll have special guests from Richland City and Andy Miller and Leo Bowman from Benton County in the studio to talk about the 9th Annual Benefit Pancake Breakfast at Jefferson Park on the corner of George Washington Way and Symons (across from the Uptown). The event begins at 7 a.m. Saturday.
I ran into this dog at a Richland park and had to share his photo. His name is Gus and he doesn't let a disability stop him. Gus was running and jumping all over -- mostly playing with children. His owner said he LOVES children and the kids loved him back! He brought smiles to EVERYONE!
The regional SWAT team was in a one-hour standoff with a dangerous gang member and sex offender in Richland Tuesday over a gun crime about two blocks from Marcus Whitman Elementary and four blocks from Carmichael Middle School
A power outage Friday morning in northern Richland knocked out several traffic lights, including the one at the intersection of Aaron Drive and State Route 240. While city crews had all lights repaired by 11 a.m., the Washington State Department of Transportation (WDOT) said everyone was off work and the light would be fixed Monday.
