Who would have thought that driving 4 hours north of Minneapolis, MN that there would be this little town which has been nominated as "The Coolest Small Town" in America! Ely, Minnesota! And why would anybody want to go there on vacation...

This has become quite the social phenomenom a couple of years ago when a radio collared North American Black Bear being studied by Dr Lynn Rogers in Ely Mn gave birth 2 years ago to a black bear club named Hope. The whole world watch and was fixated at the behavior of the bears and it became so popular that they even set up a Facebook page with over 130,000 fans!
