History will be made Wednesday night when Washington’s Lottery players vie for the biggest Powerball jackpot ever offered by the game!  Wednesday’s $500 million jackpot is currently the largest in the world and the second largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history. This record-breaking jackpot is generating excitement all over the country!

A little more than five months ago, a Los Angeles woman bought a lottery ticket at Michael’s Market & Liquor. She then left it in her car and forgot about it, obviously not that enthused with her 18 million-to-one odds of hitting the jackpot. Unbeknownst to her, she hit that jackpot to the turn of $23 million.

It's amazing how quickly our office pool went from a friendly collection for tickets to a formal email and photo copies of all the tickets.

If you thought a half a billion was big - hang on!  The jackpot has officially been raised to 540-million dollars for the drawing on Friday.   I wouldn't doubt if it grows again tomorrow.

No one won Tuesday night's Mega Millions jackpot so that means the jackpot will be a record setting 500-million dollars on Friday night!

I"m fairly certain that I'm not the only one who day dreams about winning the lottery.  It usually happens to me when I'm feeling financially insecure or when I see a neighbor drive by with a fancy sports car.   Envy?  Yes!

A Pasco couple won 9.6 million dollars in a recent Lotto drawing, and are going to do some great things with their winnings. Now a story out of Pueblo, Colorado about a couple who thought they won the lotto jackpot, bummer man.
