I don't know if you saw this story on KNDU last week just thought I'd pass it along mainly because of this Man being a hero and saving a small child from being injured by fireworks!
People in Richland (16yrs and older) can use fireworks from June 28th through July 5th. Anything that flies could get you a $250 fine.
In West Richland you can use fireworks between the 2nd and 4th of July with restricted hours.
In Pasco and Kennewick fireworks are banned...

On Friday a gas station in Russia caught fire and EXPLODED. Someone got footage of it from across the street, and the station happened to be next door to a fireworks stand, which also went ((KABOOOOM!!!))
Kennewick Fire Marshall Mark Yaden wants to remind residents that the discharge and possession of consumer fireworks are banned within the city limits of Kennewick. The criminal penalty for violating the ban is a Gross Misdemeanor. The maximum penalty is a $5,000 fine and up to one year in jail.
