The "SpaceHawks" were admitted after building a prototype with PVC pipes and bicycle parts and submitting it as an entry.

Thousands of friends and family gathered to see over 600 graduates participate in the Columbia Basin College Commencement Ceremony. It was the largest graduation in CBC history. The college awarded more than 1,300 diplomas.

Three graduates that were amongst those celebrating (pictured above) were John Myers, Talitha McCall, and Lisa Trescott.
