Last month we told you about Erin Bolster and her horse Tonk saving a young boy and horse from a 750 lb. Grizzly Bear in Glaceri National Park. It's a story like no other and shows an amazing amount of courage, determination, and loyalty...not just demonstrated by Erin herself, but with her horse Tonk, listening to Erin and going into a situation that he knew was dangerous. The story is amazing to say the least, so amazing that Erin was the guest on The Late Show with David Letterman earlier this week to talk about the harrowing effort.

This summer I had the pleasure of spending a few days up at Flathead Lake at my Sister and Brother in-law's cabin. I have been there a few times, and often wondered if I should trailer the horses up there to ride in the mountains. I recently noticed this story in the Missoulian News.
