Sunnyside Boy Disarms Step-Father on Christmas Morning

On Christmas Day, a 12 year old boy ended a domestic violence situation after his step-father threatened his mother with a fully-loaded gun.

The boy and his younger brother locked themselves in the bathroom with the gun and contacted police. Corro was said to have been resisting arrest, so more units arrived to settle the situation. The wife of the assailant believed Corro was capable of pulling the trigger and she feared for her and her childrens' lives.
