A recent survey found that over 50% of Baby Boomer  moms support their children financially after they turn 18. I'm a goner.

The survey goes on to say that moms not only let older kids move back, they encourage it, and they're responsible for paying  most of their kids bills. Experts believe lack of jobs, bad economy, and the simple fact that kids are more coddled(spoiled) more than in the past all contributes to this trend.Oh, let's not forget to ad lazy to that list. Most moms  surveyed said they were very happy to get out of their parents home, and were looking forward to starting they're own life. I believe letting a child stay at home into their twenties and paying their bills is a load of doo doo. I think allot of kids stay home and take advantage of their moms kindness, why be responsible if you don't have to pay for rent or food and just come and go as you please. I know there are exceptions to this rule. I guess I'm just old fashioned, when I was 18 I had a job and lived at home and gave my parents 100 dollars a month,  even though I didn't eat there much it was a respect thing. For all of the older kids who fit this bill, at least tell your folks thank you once in a while.
