Tomorrow night is Teddy Bear Toss Night at the Americans hockey game, and we're hoping for record numbers! Look for Janis from the KORD Waking Crew on the ice for the big event. I don't know how many teddys get tossed on the average, but I know they put an awful lot of smiles on kids' faces when they receive them. The Kamloops Blazers started the idea in 1993 as a fun way to donate to local non-profits for the holidays. Can you imagine what 35,000 teddy bears tossed all at once looks like?
