I think we've all heard of stories where parents are refusing to let grandparents see the grandkids for dumb reasons. Some of those grandparents would like that to be illegal.

Initiative 1431 would prevent parents from keeping grandchildren away from their grandparents when it wouldn't harm the children in any way to be in contact.

This has sparked a lot of debate -- should parents be allowed to keep their kids away unnecessarily?

Should the government be the one telling parents who gets to spend time with their children?

What do you guys think?
