Today is Faith Martin's last day on the radio in Tri-Cities. She's been spinning records, reading the news and connecting with us personally for over two decades! She was even our favorite TV reporter for a while! In recent years Faith was the Tri-City Herald's "Most Popular DJ" two years in a row! A few of us at the studio shared our favorite memory of Faith and we want you to share yours!

WOODY (102.7 KORD Waking Crew):
Faith really wanted a gun but was so worried that she would hate shooting it. She had experience with 380's and 9mm's but they're a bit snappy on the recoil. She took my advice and got a moderately priced .22 mag revolver that turned out to be just perfect! I took her to the range to shoot it for the first time ans she was so excited!

STACY LEE (98.3 The Key)

I've worked with Faith for many years at one time Faith did mornings on KEY and I did mornings on KORD, the KEY studios we're in a separate location in Kennewick and KORD is in Pasco, anyway Faith and Her partner at the time were the Employees of the month and therefore earned the employee of the month parking spot in Pasco. Since she was never at our studios in Pasco I was parking in the employee of the month spot...well just so happened one day she had to come to our building for a meeting and low and behold I was in the SPOT, after our meeting that day I rushed out as I had to pick my toddler up from daycare when I came out my Jeep Cherokee was covered in Graffiti which I had no time to remove so I hit the road my car windows had things written on it like Stacy Lee's a bad girl she stole our parking spot...ect... which I was completely embarrassed and in a hurry, so I hit 240 and promptly get pulled over for speeding only to add to my humiliation, the trooper didn't seem to share in my predicament and went a head and gave me the ticket...a few weeks later I appeared in court with pictures of my defaced vehicle explaining to the Judge that this is why I was so distracted and speeding and while she got a kick out of my story she didn't dismiss my ticket but did reduce my fine!!

Well played Faith. I am going to miss you and all the fun and grace you have brought into my life!

PETE (97 Rock):
I literally grew up listening to Faith. When I was 11 or 12, I remember my parents driving me to school and I would listen to Faith and Big B in the morning.

CURT CARTIER (97 Rock):
Faith is always real, never mean and will see the positive side of everybody and every situation.
I hate her for that.
Sorry.
Many many Faith memories, but one of my favorites was the ongoing daily pandemonium that came from trying to take and break a horse like Big B, keep him somewhat in the corral, and ride the show to the top of the ratings for years. A true testament to her talent and skills. Faith is at her best when she is absolutely convinced she's sucking. The drive to always try and do better and not give up even when things are crazy is one of her many lovely assets. Her plethora of gifts she shared with us will be missed.
Go Get 'em Grammy Gangbusters!!

ANDREW (98.3 The Key):
Faith is most happy outdoors and riding her horses. One of her favorite summer-time activities is swimming with her horse in the McNary Wildlife Refuge. One time a friend filmed her and her sister jumping off the horses into the water. The video was getting thousands and thousands of views on Youtube and she couldn't figure out why it was so popular. A few of us gathered around and watched the video together.
Us: "Faith, it's because you and your sister are topless!"
Faith: "I didn't think you could see anything!"
Us: "Well, we can't, you're too far away, but we can still tell!"
Faith: "Well, that explains a lot."

AJ (HOT 97.5):
My best memories of faith are her and I sitting in the KEY studio just talking about things while working. I felt like we were each other's therapist sometimes. I'll miss working with her a lot.

RALEIGH (HOT 97.5):
I don't have just one memory with Faith that stands out because her spirit is what's the best thing about her. She's always supportive and kind, and even when she is down, she goes out of her way to make sure others are taken care of first. She is a beautiful person inside and out and it will be a little bit darker without her here. I know her next move is the right one, but I'll miss her dearly.
