We had such a great time at last night's 'Tie One On Event!

Lots of community members came out to bid on some wonderful packages from area wineries, travel packages, spa memberships, and so many other things...All to raise funds for Safe Harbor Support Center/ My Friends Place Homeless Teen Shelter.

Available for donations were Ties and Handbags to purchase as well!, So while people donned their new tie and wore it proudly they could eat from "Between the Buns" and Kinder Wok and Roll! And enjoy wine from Le Ecole and Woodward Canyon! Leonetti Wines donated some wonderful wine packages too for people to bid on!

I was so happy to see so many wonderful community members come out and support the event!

Local Author Torena O'Rorke was there and sells her books with all proceeds benefiting the cause. (I've read a couple of her books and they are amazing!)

Two community youth with a special connection to the homeless teen shelter My Friends Place, got up and spoke and were intelligent, inspiring and entertaining!

One was Travis Rybarski, who is a 'Battle Rapper' and organized a competition with the Batthel Rapping Company called 'King of the Dot' That competition raised $1,500 and Travis presented the check at the event.

A gal named Desereene, also got up and talked about her experience with the homeless teen shelter
