Russia Today (RT), a propaganda news station funded by the Russian government, made the Hanford tank leak a bigger deal than what it really is to intentionally insult America.

Russia Today was founded in 2005. It is a propaganda TV station broadcasting to countries outside of Russia. RT was created with the purpose to attack countries with news that made them look bad to other countries. One of the most recent attacks is about Hanford.

Without downgrading the seriousness of the tank leakage or the vapor problem, RT claimed thousands of radioactive chemicals are seeping into the ground and contaminating the Columbia River. They stated it is environmentally catastrophic.

Hanford has always had its ups and downs since the start, so why only now is it catastrophic when most people outside of Washington haven't even heard of Hanford? Officials are investigating the problems and answers will be forthcoming. In the meantime, don't be fooled by Russian propaganda:
