Two spring egg hunts are planned by Richland Parks and Recreation later this month and both will include treats, prizes and photo opportunities with Mr. Bunny.

The first is “Morning with Mr. Bunny…and Pancakes Too” beginning at 9:30 am on Saturday March 28 in the Richland Community Center. The annual event starts with a pancake breakfast for the entire family and then activities for children 10 and under get underway. Activities include an egg hunt, crafts, sidewalk chalk art, games, and prizes. A photo of your child with Mr. Bunny is included in the small fee.

The cost per child is $5.50 for Richland residents or $6.75 for non-residents. 11-year olds and older can enjoy the pancake breakfast for only $3.75. Tickets will also be available at the door. The cost is $7 for Richland residents or $8.75 for non-residents. Anyone 11 and older can enjoy the pancake breakfast for only $5.

The inaugural spring “egg” dog hunt will be on the same day, March 28, at noon behind the Richland Community Center in the southern end of Howard Amon Park. Dogs must be kept on a leash but are invited to stroll around with their master sniffing out hidden dog treats provided by Paws Natural Pet Emporium. Easter pet attire is encouraged. Bring your camera to capture the moments of this free program.
