Richland Firefighters Rescue Elderly Woman From House Fire

Kudos goes out to the Richland Fire Department after rescuing an elderly woman from her burning home yesterday in central Richland

Fire crews responded to an emergency call at 6:30 p.m. Monday May 8th at a home engulfed in flames on Adams street. Just inside the front door they found a woman down an suffering from 2nd degree burns. The woman was rushed to Kadlec hospital where she is being treated.

According to reports the fire was in the kitchen and was contained by firefighters in about 15 minutes!

The fire Marshall is investigating the cause of the fire.
