The manufacturer says it will eliminate the "middle man."    What about the drug czar?

Give them bonus points for incentive and creativity!   The American Green company has debuted the first ever marijuana vending machine, which went into service in Eagle-Vail, Colorado.

The machine features a swipe system by which a consumer has to verify their age using their drivers license.   Multiple cameras will verify the same person pictured on the license is the one actually swiping the card.    Stephen Shearin, the CEO of American Green says the machine will accurately track inventory, and prevent fraud with the multiple camera-identity system.

The owner of the store where it's going into service says the product will go straight from the budtender (?) to the machine.  It removes the chance of theft by employees or patrons.

No word if such machines will be headed out way.
